Ooopps, My Crazy's Showing-Fun Again After All These Years-What HubPages Has Done For Me
57I'm sorry if I am not who you thought I was. I debated about starting another personality, but that is just so not me! I am who I am, when I am, how I am. If you liked me serious, you will like me even more now...now I have all the good of my seriousness and all the fun of today.
I have been much too serious for much, too much, of my life. Why, you ask? I was scared to get into another relationship. I knew they were toxic to me, but never really understood why. Thank God for HubPages, which made me meet myself through my writing. All I want to say is THANKS for all the support! I never would have made it so far without you all!
I love HubPages! I do not imagine how long it would have taken me to get this far in my understanding of myself, but for you all! I have been hobbling along in life for years, never really understanding why I could not be myself. Here I am myself, and I feel accepted. Accepted in every nerdy, silly, lackluster thing I write. You all have changed my life.
I now write poetry...and like to! I, for the first time in over 10 years, share of myself. HubPages has taught me that it is OK. People will not make fun of me. They will cheer me and help me. What a tremendous supportive group, the likes of which exist in no other plane in our lives!
If you have been here since my beginning, maybe you have seen how I've grown. You may have seen a dark side of me, that was beaten into place by the light. Even though this is an Internet site, I hold my head up higher in real life. After years of thinking I would never fit in, I have found a community to fit with.
We are not a perfect community, but we are THE perfect community. We can agree, disagree, agree to disagree, without losing our friendship. This is the best thing about HubPages. We can be who we are and there is always someone to support us. Unless, of course, you are not a loving individual bent on co-existance. If you are a "hater" we will weed you out! We are a loving community, one that builds up, not one that tears down.
If you want to fit in and tear someone else down, go to another site like Facebook, Twitter, or one of the hundreds of other sites available. You may fit in there, but you will never fit in here! Here we are all about support, not tearing down.
If you would like a community that will show you love and instant gratification, you have found your home in HubPages. There is no other site out there today who can give you the love and support you will find here. We are writers. We are Nerds (well, maybe not everyone, but I am!). We are the World.
I have met people from every walk of life and found out that their dreams are the same as mine...to love; to live; to be happy. How is it that we do not understand our sisters and our brothers. Maybe everyone should be required to join a site such as HubPages. A site that allows us to make friends with our enemies...to understand what we find different..to love the unknown.
We are in this path together...this path called life. How can we hate each other, when we know that we love someone from there? This is what life is all about...understanding our differences and what drives them. This is the gift of the internet. That we can speak together and understand. Sure, there will always be someone who doesn't' get it, but more do than don't.
Here at HubPages we are a community. We have proved this time and time again. There is no-one strong enough to stand against us. We live, we love...we play. And our playfulness may well be the reason we are strong. We are a community! We are friends! Even in disagreements we come together!
WE ARE THE FUTURE!!!!!
We love each other no matter where we come from. We have "cool" friends in hated states. WE love each other for who we are, not for where we come from, not for who we know...but for WHO we ARE. We are the new life, we are the new world, we are family! And we will exist WITH each other!
We live this life together, all our hurts, all our regrets...everyone has them. We are related in this. We live with understanding, not misunderstanding and hate. The world already has too much of that.
We need to join together, learn to know each other, find out what we believe may not be that different from our brothersl We are the world! Let us be the world, together!

Kari: I loved what you expressed here! I too love Hubpages; it has refined my writing skills, (its still a work in progress), have connected to people from all over the world, have had a chance to read what is inside a person's mind and heart, have been entertained, have learned, have cried, have laughed, have seen photos of countries overseas where some hubbers live that I may never visit in person, and it just thrills me. It thrills me, we are all basically one as humans.

BT, I have never in my life met a more supportive group of people! We may not understand everything about each other, but we do not judge! At least that is what I have found! Support is paramount...belittlement is close to nil. If anyone belittles, they are ganged up on to stop. Never, ever, ever have I met such a good, and supportive bunch of people. I doubt if I will ever, ever leave HubPages.
It is funny how you can connect with someone you have never seen or heard, but here...we do. There is a certain amount of honesty that comes with writing, I think. I don't believe you could write believably about love if you knew nothing about it. I think our hubs show us...maybe more than we want at times, but we decide what to publish...no others. :D

I am just so truly happy that I clicked on your hub tonite K@ari....I couldn't identify with it more had I wrote it myself.. being new to hubpages, and continually trying, expanding and growing... or so I like to think, and making connections with so many of you... does really make me feel more than a sense of "community".. It's more like we are all a silent but reinforcing support system and after I hit the "publish now" key after each hub I write, I feel a sense of giving and like a family... my friends and fellow "hubbers' respond with their comments.. This is the best kept secret of my world probably in the last 46 years and it couldn't have come at a greater time in my life than now.. I'm so fortunate to have found this site within the past few months as I'm ending a 25 year marriage, and have recently had a close call with "open heart surgery" the time I've spent healing... has truly been time spent healing..not just my heart health.. but my soul as well, because of hubpages and people like yourself K@ri.. thanks again.

Misha, I love the first one! The pictures seem at odd with the happy sounding tune, although I can hear some pain/longing/anger in her voice at times. I like the second, but not as much as the first! I really love that third one! (Thanks for this wonderful journey!) This fourth makes me want to laugh...I think it is because of when the singer gazes at the camera with a look of superiority. The clowns were funny also, but some of the images are really not laughable. I really liked this...even though it is enigmatic for me! I love the dramatic and emotional tone of the fifth video! Very nice song...it is replaying in my head as I write! I love the sixth one! Seems like a very fun song. The woman singing cracks me up, she is fabulous! I love her attitude! Is she the same as the one in the first video? The Summer Time song is wonderful! I really love that one woman's voice, the one on the right...she is the one from the sixth video, correct?
